Salvation: The Straight Gospel
1. You Are A Sinner:
The Bible says: "There is none righteous, no, not one", and
"'That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." All of us have broken the Law
of God at one time or another and because of it, we all are sinners.
2. There is a Price to be Paid for Sin:
The price for sin is death. This means "Eternal Separation" from God. This death is both:
Physical = Romans 5:12 "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned."
Spiritual = Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Spiritual = Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
3. Jesus Paid The Price For Your Sin When He Died On The Cross:
Romans 5:8 "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us."
I Peter 5:18 "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God,..."
4. You Must Repent Of Your Sins:
The word "repent" means to change your direction. It does not mean to start being a "Good
Person." It means to have a change of Heart, a change of Mind and a change of Action.
5. You Must Personally Receive Christ As Your Savior:
This is very important. Many people think that they will get into Heaven because they have been
raised in a "God-fearing Christian home". This is simply not true. You must personally give your life and your heart to Christ,
because every man will stand before the Lord and give an answer to God for himself. Someone once said: God doesn't have any
"Grandchildren" only "Sons and Daughters."
The Promise:
Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord they shall be saved."
John 6:37 "And him that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out."
This is Great News. And if you think it's great and would like to receive Jesus Christ as your
Lord and Savior, then pray this prayer from your heart and God will hear, forgive, and set you on a straight path
that leads right to Him. God is not concerned about reciting certain words, but the state of your heart:
Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. Please have mercy on me! Please forgive me of all my sins
and save me. I believe you died on the cross for my sins, and I thank you. Please fill me with Your Holy Spirit so that I will
be able to live my life for You...

I never expected Biblical salvation to be not only misunderstood but rejected by people claiming to be Christians. The words saved and born again caused
problems when they are spoken by Jesus Christ Himself. I was floored by how
misunderstood the entire point of Christianity is. Salvation is easy. The Lord
