THE REAL CHRISTMAS 24/7

“She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel,” which means “God with us”.

This Christmas the Lord spoke to my heart about its true meaning. Jesus came to save us from our sins. The baby in the manger, who was the God-man incarnate, was born to die just like the lambs He was born with. I need forgiveness everyday, and so everyday is Christmas to me. Everyday is a gift of forgiveness by the miracle birth of God in the flesh, coming to save me from my sins. Christmas is the celebration of the greatest and most amazing rescue mission in the history of the world. It has meaning every single day if I keep my eyes on the baby who was born to go to the cross for me.

But Christmas is also much more than that!! As Immanuel, Jesus is not just my Savior everyday (which in itself is amazing and more gracious than I can comprehend), but He is with me everyday. He is with me in trials. He is with me at home, work, and wherever I go. He makes it all meaningful and fulfilling. He is not only with me and beside me but in me. He is in my heart, my mind, my thoughts, and my soul, making life fulfilling when I walk and live with a God consciousness of this truth. This is the ultimate gift and you can have Christmas everyday if you let Him show you that He is with you everyday. God’s forgiveness and presence are the real gifts that we should treasure. This Christmas celebrate that Christmas is real every second that you live!
